Chelsea Trio, Berkley and Monza

Contemporary means something that is modern but has a foot in the past and blends these two designs together in harmony. This room has captured the blend perfectly through the use of colour, material and pattern. Firstly the visually striking dresser unit with the wallpapered backing and green doors represents a throwback to the traditional styles of something you’d see in Victorian times but it’s balanced by the dark wood and white of the island and main run of units. Using brass handle rails and handles to tie the room together adds cohesion whilst choosing a busier granite for the worktops reflects the nature inspired chaos of the wallpaper.
