Spires Interiors recently completed this en-suite renovation project in Colchester, Essex, turning two small en-suites into a spacious, stylish family wetroom. Here's how we achieved this look.
The customer originally approached Spires Interiors looking to update their two small en-suite bathrooms, both of which had a particularly dated aesthetic and had been poorly-installed by the previous owners, causing minor damage to the space. They wanted to knock through the wall separating the two small en-suites, creating a large, airy wetroom. Our design team quickly set to work laying out a new floorplan for the space with a spacious walk-in shower with a tiled-in wetroom system designed to fit seamlessly with the wall and floor tiles.
An eye-catching double-size vanity unit and heated radiator with an integrated aroma well that heats essential oils for added relaxation add to the calm and serene feel of the space, and the windows were replaced with a new frosted glass window. By knocking through two rooms into one, fitting these elements into the new space whilst maintaining the spacious, clean feel was relatively easy, and the result shows in the end product, expertly fitted by our team of experienced craftspeople.
