Nestled in the picturesque village of Gosfield near Halstead, Essex, our clients required a luxurious yet functional transformation of their dressing room and existing en-suite bathroom. Working closely with the homeowners, we embarked on a project to blend timeless elegance with contemporary convenience and functionality, crafting a space that reflects their lifestyle and taste, transforming their en-suite and dressing area, and adding an entirely new bathroom.
In the dressing area, the client wanted spacious, bespoke fitted wardrobes, bespoke alcove shelving and matching cupboards to maximize storage. Moving through the dressing room and into the bathroom space, the client wanted to turn the existing small shower room into a spacious shower room and adjoining bathroom.
The overarching goal of our design team was to turn the three interconnected spaces into a truly cohesive, flowing design that exudes luxury and quality. By using high-quality wood, handles, and finishes, the space had to balance sophistication with everyday usability, providing an inviting retreat within the home. To achieve this, our design team began by closely reviewing the existing layout to maximize functionality.
Our joinery team crafted two luxurious, built-in wardrobes to anchor the space with their stylish yet practical design. Each wardrobe was customised to accommodate the client’s storage needs, with ample hanging sections for suits and dresses to dedicated compartments for shoes, accessories, and other items. The wardrobes also featured motion-sensor lighting, allowing each section to illuminate automatically as it opens, adding both convenience and an elegant touch. Bespoke cupboards and shelving were also added in both the dressing room and the approach to the bathroom, again with motion-sensor lighting.
In the bathroom, we crafted a spacious towel wardrobe, blending functionality with a refined look. This larger unit offers an organized space for storing linens and bath essentials, keeping them within easy reach while maintaining a completely uncluttered environment. We opted for a palette of calming neutrals throughout the bathroom space, accented with chic fixtures and fittings and ambient lighting that creates a spa-like feel.
Every element, from the shelving to the wardrobe interiors, was custom-built to ensure maximum functionality and visual appeal. With attention to detail and a focus on quality, this renovation reflects both the elegance and practical sophistication that define our approach to bespoke interior design. The client now enjoys a cohesive, refined space that meets their storage needs while providing a luxurious retreat.
