This captivating, curvaceous and contemporary kitchen had to fulfil two main criteria for homeowners Mr & Mrs Springett - be visually stunning, whilst providing a functional kitchen space with plenty of storage.
Spires Interiors worked closely with the client to design and install a new kitchen and utility room that complemented each other perfectly, were easy to clean and looked bright and inviting.
Clever curves
The kitchen space is roughly square, so we advised that radius, curved base and wall units would create a cool, contemporary feel and provide a greater impression of space, without compromising storage.
Opting for integrated appliances for a seamless look, the kitchen includes a new a cooker, hob and fridge-freezer, whilst their existing washing machine is hidden away in the new utility room that mirrors the design of the kitchen.
The worktops are crafted from a beautiful taupe coloured granite, which were specially imported from Italy, with draining grooves to complement the under-mounted stainless steel sink. Bellissimo!
Matching granite splashbacks extend the effect from worktop to wall, which not only look fabulous, but can easily be wiped down.
The devil's in the detail
Our interiors team have an incredible eye for detail, so believe it's the finishing touches that really bring a kitchen to life, which is why we selected pelmet lighting and soft closing mechanisms on all doors and drawers.
The installation itself took about a week from start to finish, meaning minimum disruption to family life. The client was extremely delighted with the finished result and for us, that’s what it’s all about, exceptionally beautiful kitchens and happy clients.
