We introduced a soft neutral palette, clean lines and textured feature tiles to add depth without overwhelming the space. Layouts were refined to maximise openness, and finishes were selected to create a calm, modern feel throughout.
Where pipework or structural constraints required adjustments, the team communicated clearly, offered recommendations and ensured the clients felt confident in each decision.

Q: What style did you go for in the bathrooms, and what made you choose it?
A: The original bathrooms were very dated, and we wanted something bright and modern. The space is quite restrictive in the rooms and they could feel claustrophobic, so we really wanted to open them up.
Q: How did you find pulling colours, tiles and finishes together before coming to us?
A: Honestly, we had no idea when we came in. We had a vague concept, but really Spires led us through the journey as part of the design process.
Claude helped us pick colours, tiles and finishes and suggested things we never would have thought of. Both my husband and I struggle to visualise how these concepts come together and Claude really helped us imagine the end product.

Q: Looking at the finished rooms now, what stands out most about the quality and finish?
A: Honestly, the change is astounding. The rooms look so much bigger and brighter and the standard of finishes is excellent.
The rooms look cohesive yet still homely and practical for our family. One of my favourite features is the textured tiles running around the rooms; they really elevate the look and make the neutral colours more interesting.
Installation Experience
Q: How did you find the installation phase day‑to‑day?
A: The team were excellent and very organised. We were kept up to date on what was happening when.
The team were professional and efficient and progressed quickly through the tasks.
Q: Did anything the team did make the process easier for you?
A: We were amazed at how clean they were.
They made sure all our flooring etc was protected and we were worried about dust in the house, but in actuality, it was very clean and the team made an effort to clean up on a day-by-day basis.
Unexpected Bits
Q: Were there any surprises or challenges during the project, and how did you feel they were handled?
A: A few times throughout the process, we had to adapt as pipes were in the wrong place or where we wanted to put a feature wouldn’t work.
The team kept us updated and gave recommendations, but left the final decision up to us. For the most part we were glad to accept their suggestions.

A: We felt like the team were competitive on pricing, especially given the high-quality finish and seamless installation. We felt like it was worth it for sure.
